Eric Kater has worked as an advertising writer and creative director. For his public interest work, he received the CEBA Award of Excellence for pioneering communications to the African American community presented by DDB Needham Worldwide and Black Entertainment Television. His travel and spirits writing has appeared in Travel + Leisure, the knot, New York Post, and Maxim.
